I was just wondering whether there are any cowboys out there that I can talk to. I've always had a passion to live in the country because right now I live in the city, or subperbia as some people like to put it. And ya know, livin in the city's not much fun and can get ya down in the dumps. Everyone's rushin to live their life.

Anyway, I just want someone to talk to because I'm feelin down.

I live just outside a Texas town of about 400 people and most of them think Kenefick is a big city. I see a cowboy every now and them. There are also many wanna be's around too.

Most folks with cows around here let them feed in the river bottom and have to go round them up when the river floods so I run into a cowboy down there sometimes when I am looking for a wild hog (East Texas Piney Woods Rooter) to put in the freezer. Now that the kids are grown and gone I don't need as many and that seems to work well cause I am getting a bit old to go have a gun fight with a bunch of wild hogs every few weeks anymore.

Thanks Smitty,

So is that your actual name or just a nickname?
Anyway, where ya from? I guess you're also wondering why I'm a bit down huh?

I go to university and I hate it!! I want to quit.

University major? Computer Science classes gave me jobs with decent paycheck- beats growing corn for $.75/bu. RN.

So I'm guessing NE Ca is North East Caroliner or is that California? I'm sorry I wouldn't know I'm from Australia.

That would be NE California. What is your major.
I would like to visit Australia some day.

Last name is Smith so Smitty is a natural nickname.
I live in NE Ca in the mts. so guess I am a mountain Man rather than a Cowboy lol. I am retired and live alone next to the forest in a town of 35 people.
