my uncle built a dollhouse for his missus who'd yearned for one when she was growing up. It had 2 glass walls so you could see thru it. That tiny furniture was a real treat to examine. Little rocking chairs and everything. And since he was a rockhound, there was an agate fireplace, sidewalk and chair seats were agates. :)

We have the pieces in a china cabinet. I could see a dollhouse with glass walls would be something else.I have never heard of an idea like that before.

hubby is a carpenter by trade so he built all the stairways and steps and little kitchen cabinets and a bit of the furniture like tables and such.the girls and i collected old wallpaper books and they picked the paper for each room. and i made curtains and even crocheted the braided rugs .
