Does she need a health certificate?
Do you know who I can contact for this information I sure do not want to get stuck at the borders

There may be all kinds of complications since Mad Cow. They don't consider a goat as a pet as far as livestock and border laws go.

I linked up the Texas extention office contacts for you. They won't know but should be able to get you headed off right.

I'm not sure if Canada is keeping US goats out, but the US is still keeping goats from Canada out so even if you do get the goat into Canada, you won't get it back out to go either to Alaska or back south.
