The day started early....drained hot water heater and had to replace both elements...well it only needed one but I figure 9 bux aint going to break me so I replace both....chore#2 repair the water line I harrowed up last week end in the pasture, three hours and 15 bux with of fittings and pipe later done...chore#3 replace broken window that bird flew into...done chore#4 fetch and put on steel table the 220# anvil i bought from a friend....managed to mash broken finger again...
swollen up 4 times the normal size so i put it on ice...still throbbing like mad....but just happen to find some pain killers left over from shoulder surgery last year one should do it...what the heck...I'll take two....

so how has your day been?

TO.... the one who will feel no pain real soon

Sounds like you had a normal day, for country folks.

Well, mine still ain't as bad as yours, but I got to spend the day rewiring the coop. Got to pull out a thousand staples, and put real chicken wire on. The squirrels had a good ole time chewing through the flimsy plastic junk today. Don't know why, its like they cant get in, so there must be something in there good, ughhh. Got to make a trip and get one more roll of chicken wire, and some more staples.

Live and learn. This is all a learning process. The plastic gray wire sure was a lot easier to handle and it looks better than that chicken wire is gonne look, BUT...its just not functional, so it don't really matter, it has to be redone.

Stupid squirrels

How do getaway with this sort of uncaring inconsiderate thoughtlessness. I say something anywhere near like that TO's all over me like a wild tornado.
I'ts got ta be the way my speck's slid down my nose.
And, just a wee little bit of lol...

To's Finger's prbably felt better if he had dropped the anvil on his foot.that much pain at the other end of his anatomy he'd have forgottena ll about sore finger's'.
perifieril (? all-around) vissions good both, left eye suposedly 20/20. Doudt i'll read again with right eye. Walking intohouse in dark without moon I could see my way like forty yrs ago.
Probaly have to screw up something somewhere to retry night driveing.
About the toughest part is accepting more and more limitations each day. It seemed like only yesterday I could have picked up any near 189lb calf and carried a couple hundred yds. Not anymore. I can't even dream such a feat anymore.
What's I got to worry about now nights are what dreams' Clink's over hearing. I'm telling ya, she ever needs a hearing aid, I'll find alturnative uses for her batteries first.
Get me. Complicating a simple question.
What was the question?

I know the feeling. Them wimmins only need to hear so much and that's it.

That sounds good on the one eye just keep exercising the other one. Make it lift weights or something.
Don't get tempted into lookin at a Hustler magazine and straining that eye.

It is kinda odd how many things a feller figgers out he don't need to do in his gray years.

Last down calf I had I went and rounded up my son to come get it out for me after I had wrestled it around awhile. It was a brahman about 100+ lbs.
