I posted them in the Photo Gallery. There are 9 pictures in all I believe. Sorry it took so long to get them on here. I am so proud of my accomplishment! The run is not on any of these pics, and after I rewire it, I will take pics of it and develop those and post those. I will take some more of the chickens too. They have grown a little bigger since these. They grow like weeds! Y'all enjoy. This was my own design. I have the floor of the house chicken wired in case something tries to burrow underneath, and the house sits on red bricks, which sit on the chicken wire.

Great start sorta reminds me of the one I built for my Shelby! Then she wanted a little barn, built that and it grew more then I had to build her a bigger barn and she bought more cows!! Now I have to buy more land and fence it to feed them. Of course they needed a couple of horses to find the cows with when they are on open range so that added 2 more animals to feed and house. Now we have about 18 head to feed and it will take about 50+ ton of hay for the winter. Now she wants to get the 4 pigs for the summer to raise so we add another bunch of mouths all complaining we want food at the same time. I just love having a farm in the country!! Hope the tractor does not break down because it is now a lot of feed to move and remove after they ate it!! Mark H.

boy you thought of everything didn't you? Egg retrieval system? Heck our grocery store could use one of those! Hey with a wire floor you could even put it on blocks for cleaning out. I like raised rabbit hutches for that reason. :)

That's a fine chicken house! I am so glad you are able to do this even where you live. You are going to have your country home someday, you are too determined not to accomplish it somehow. I am waiting with bated breath to hear about the first egg. Somehow I think if the wind is blowing in the right direction at the right moment I'll know about it before you ever start typing (grin)

Thanks Cindi. :) Means a LOT coming from you. I am really enjoying this. Probably not supposed to be doing this, like you said, but I don't care, nobody can see in my back yard anyway, so whos gonna tell? :)

Ann loves it. She figures that it's right up there with the best HGTV has to offer. I, on the other hand figure that you're really a stand up gal to use JD green. Nice job...you have room for about 20 in there. Let us know when you get your first eggs.

I love the color green, its my favorite color. :) Glad y'all approve. Means a lot to me, thanks! I will have more pics as I progress on it. :) I will let ya know when those eggs come in.

Thanks Burr...Should have been a good idea to go ahead and put the chicken wire on the run, but...I put that cheap plastic wire on, and now I am gonna pay for it in the morning, all day, pulling staples, and rewiring. Live and learn!
