....for Wild Kingdom's Mer;in Perkins and a routin`n'tootin' Boone`n'Crocket misadventure with good old riverman Mike Fink stiring up the works.

Hey Fern...I work with Bob Fowler he is the brother of Jim Fowler, Marlin Perkins long time side kick....Jim is building a really large nature peserve here in south georgia.
I love those old shows....espically when they wrestle those huge anacondas....

I remember the last yr Marlin Perkins hosted the show. So sick & dieing of cancer he insisted on working. Was better than sitting around waiting the end.
Took note of Marlin's letting Jim handle more`n' more of the wilderness escapades dealing with the hands on animal contacts. Got a chuckle (a respectable chuckle) out of Marlin's explainations as to what was going on. "While Jim wrestles a Georgian alligator, I'm going back to camp to check the oil levels in our evening lamp-lites."
That was one good show.
