they could not get in today! Yes, the squirrels came, and they tried to chew the wire, they pulled on it with their little squirrelly hands. One got so mad, he ran any other squirrel off that tried to get into the chicken run. I stood at the kitchen sink, doing dishes, watching him try in vain for 30 minutes, lol. He would climb up on top, he would scale the sides, chew and pull here and there,go around and around back and forth, but there was no way in! HA! HA! I beat em! And everybody knows its no small task to outsmart a squirrel. :) They are persistant, and I know he will be back tomorrow to try again, becaue their persistance outweighs their smarts, lol.

It takes gumption, fortitude, intellect, and good old American 'Stick-To-It-Ivness' to be able to triumph over most rodents, let alone educated sqwerls...

I hate them thangs...UNless they are fried to a turn of course...With some fresh rolls...And sqwerl gravey...

That is good Kelly you have won for now. but as you said thay are persistant. given time thay will find a way in. so rest fer now but keep an eye on things.
