To get to Tractor Tales (and find Matt who's in college), click the link to the left "YT Magazine" then on their site, go down the left to "Discussion Forums" and then scroll down the list of discussion forums to near the end "Tractor Tales".

Joyce, who's 32 and has a 19 year old brother.

I was almost 50yrs ago. If you're not to fussy would I qualify?

Alias    Posted 03-26-2004 at 05:16:18       [Reply]  [No Email]
Fern, what air you up to? Yesturday you were 68 and today your nearly 50? Give the child a break.

Now Maz, I, on the other hand, am 66 but, with a 32 year old mindset. Only, ever once in a while my mind believes I'm 18. I think in a few more years, I'll be even younger. It's called going into the 2nd childhood. LOL. Hope you find some nice youngsters to chat with......gfp

It's just that, people around my age would probably understand what I'm talking about better. That's all.
Actually I get the impression that there is nobody under the age of 40 on this forum coz I havn't come across any youngies yet.
Would I be right in saying that?

Dieselrider    Posted 03-26-2004 at 04:14:06       [Reply]  [No Email]
I understand your wanting to rap with folks your own age but, don't sell these old geezers short. After all they were 18 once (or twice) and know about what's what. Stop back in every once in a while. We may need someone to pass out the Geritol. Lol

DD    Posted 03-25-2004 at 19:29:15       [Reply]  [No Email]
I'm 36 : )

Dieselrider    Posted 03-26-2004 at 04:10:24       [Reply]  [No Email]
DD, You've been sayin that for the last 10! :) Lol.

you may be right, most are over 40 I'd say. There are a few over on the tractor tales board (Matt for one) in their 20's I think. Lenore maybe close to 18 (young at heart):^)

~Lenore 18 at heart ;-)    Posted 03-25-2004 at 20:05:13       [Reply]  [No Email]
Haha, you got me figured out, Ron!!

ron,ar    Posted 03-25-2004 at 20:14:09       [Reply]  [No Email]
yep, looks like maz has found herself someone her age over on Tales, that Matt and FM are college boys.
Has the weather warmed up any down there yet? I am going that way last part of April, gonna plant sorghum at Cleveland with brother I hope.

~Lenore    Posted 03-25-2004 at 20:25:03       [Reply]  [No Email]
Yes!
Winter is over and Spring is almost over, too!
Summer is fast approaching.
Nice cool mornings around 65 warming to 80+.
I have been goofing off and playing in my yard.
Going to the garden shops around buying plants to play with.

Do you check that Liberty website I gave you?
He keeps a 24 hour weather check on it.
I talked to the webmaster this evening;
he wanted me to come over and look at his new office.
He gets as many as 3,500 hits a day on his site.

are going to have a street dance among other things at the Jubilee. I have not seen a street dance in 20 years or more. Ron,ar

Yes, second only to the TVE rodeo and fair;
the Jubilee is next big to do here.

We also have a new event, "Thunder on the Trinity"
where all the bikers converge on the town have a big shindig at the fair grounds.

look on the left, click on YT magazine, then you wil be on Yesterdays tractors. Again on the left you will see Discussion boards, click on that. You will see a long list of boards one of which will be tractor tales.

There are someyouger folk coming on now and then. might add your age to your net-name. Give these other kids an dea you're around.
As for present ages: Ya got some old has-beens unlike myself lurking about: toolman, clipper, deadcarp; and then some young ladies 20somthin through 30somethin.
So speek-up. What have ya got to lose. Most of these real old guys are slipping into their second child hoods and should be right at home with ya. That i if any of them can still spell?
he he he

Ron,ar    Posted 03-25-2004 at 19:07:50       [Reply]  [No Email]
"real old guys"? you must be speaking about To-35, Clipper and maybe Les?

toolman    Posted 03-25-2004 at 20:48:29       [Reply]  [No Email]
