I mowed the front this morning.
Then pushed that mower to the back and cranked it up.
It caused a dust storm!!
I had no idea we needed rain that bad.
*cough, cough* it is awful and I do not want to start watering this early;
so I am praying for a nice steady rain all night long.
This morn the weatherman said it would rain tonight;
but during the day he changed his mind.

Our big Jubilee is this weekeend so I guess I can wait a couple of days. Dont want to rain on our little town's street dance and street fair.

I mowed the front and the back day before yesterday, blew up a good dust storm myself. :)

Lenore! You quit that praying for rain right this minute!! It is still too wet to till the garden area without getting the stinkin tiller bogged down! Didn't ya'll get that gully washer the other night? We surely did. It was just a couple days ago.

And if you go to the Jubilee look for the Kenefick Smokers cooking team, which is supposed to be first in line. That's my fire chief and others from our fire department. I'll probably be over there sometime tomorrow, eating free bbq and chasing it with free barley pops. ;)

Howdy, neighbor!

No I did not get the gully washer.
I think there is an umbrella over Liberty.
Dayton gets rain, Hardin gets rain.
Daisetta and Nome get rain, but Liberty gets 25 raindrops and that is it!!
I will hold off praying for it till after the Jubilee, however.
What is another two days in the desert?
