I don't like given out lots of personal stuff to organizations. Does anybody know what Yahoo Clubs do with that stuff they ask you in order to be a "member"?

Considering no one is going to check your personal info and the only real info you need to give is your email address make it up.

I range from 10 to 200 years old on system that ask my age. I make from 0 to 20billion dollars,
I live all over the US and have dozens of phone numbers. I give accurate info that I feel they need. FOr most email is about it.

Some people I know set up special email accounts with the free services (hotmail, etc) and use them when signing up. Once you get a password or confirmation you can let the email account lapse. If I was a merchant I wouldn't have any confidence in the data collected by those registrations. Anybody can enter anything.

I belong to several Yahoo Clubs, joined w/minimal info...have not had any feedback(spam/unsolicited msg etc)that could be tied to Yahoo.Believe info is used only for inhouse demographics.
