I have a very old horse drawn sod plow and I would like to know the manufacturer of it. It is made of steel exept the handles the beam and everything else is steel there are some numbers stamped into one of the brackets attaching the handles to the plow. There are no names on it anywhere it has a flat sharp steel share and hehind the share are some round rails to slide the sod off to the right hand side. This plow is factory built I can tell buy looking at it. It belonged to my great great grandfather who used it just after the Cherokee strip land run in 1893 I imagine that it is around 105 years old or older. There is a slight hint of green paint on the toung clevis boldted to the front of the beam. The toung clevis a two peice type one half bolted to each side of the beam and the clevis looks like it is cast iron. Can anyone help me identify the manufacturer of my sod plow or know of someone who can help? Thanks.
