I just heard on the radio that people need 9 hours of sleep a day. The news spot said kids are sleep deprived too.

That must be my problem. I only get 7...if I'm lucky. By 3pm, I'm yawning like a cat.

How much do you all get?

On a good nite maybe 6 hours. Most of the time 5 hours. 7 days a week. Been this way for several years. I have worked some long shifts at work(30 to 36 hours straight) and I still can't sleep more than 6 hours at a time.

I probably get about 4-6, average. I generally wake up in the middle of it for anywhere from a few minutes to an hour. I know, no where near normal.

Anywhere from 7 to 9 hours, depending on how early and how loud the hydraulic alarm clock rings :(

8 will do 9 is better but 10 is great. Main thing is not having a starting and ending time.

Usually about 6 hours. But I think on the average 5. I wake up at 3:30 am everyday, rain or shine, dead or alive.

I get about 6 hours a night, in bed by 9pm and up at 3am to be in work at 4

I go to sleep between 10 and 11, and up between 6 and 7. That puts me averaging about 8 hours a night. But I'll sleep 9 if the hubby and girls don't wake me up! Oh yeah, and I strive to take naps on the weekend.

wow, I'm glad to be back to being average! (I was above average in the gas passing survey...) I need 8-9 hrs or I'm a bit of a bear.
I can do 5-6 hrs, but after a week or so... Watch out!!!

Usally about 4 hours during the weekdays and about 7 on the weekends. My daughter has to go to bed at 7:30 (she is 6) to get a good 10 hours in before getting up for school at 5:30.

Maybe 6 hours on a good day...

Closer to 5 normally...Winter is worse with having to get up once or twice a night to stoke the fire...

Six an a half hours or seven at the most.
No naps unless I am terribly sick!

About 6 hours, now I am wondering when daylight savings time come into schedules, if it will remain the same.
