Been looking at new grills, old one is about shot!! I found one I like but it has cast iron burners. Has anyone had experience with this type of grill? The only ones I have ever had were steel and they were easy to find/replace, I don't know if the cast iron ones will be as readily available/economical. Maybe they don't need replacing as often?? Any input would be appreciated. The name brand is Brinkman.

for a cast iron burner: are the fittings identical to those in the standard propane burning back yard grills, or are they differnt, or does any body know?

cast iron burner will outlast the others by years. I had a used one with cast burners it was the best one I ever owned. sure outlasted the pressed steel burners. I have stainless now but I'm sure it won't last about 2 more years (2 years old now).
