I am sitting here, freezing my patootee off. The pilot light went out in the furnace under the house, because of all the strong winds we have been having. I TOLD Ian, but he has two blankets on him, and shows no signs of getting up and lighting the thing. I am so tired of this wind and cold. It's supposed to be spring! It got down to 35 last night! I can feel it all the way down into my bones.....bbbbbrrrrrr

Thats IT, Cindi, move over, I am moving to Florida! I want to be WARM!!!

Kelly...who is now going to take a HOT steamy shower, and stay in there until I am red as a beet! lol

It,s really cold in north Georgia to.The pilot light on this buck stove has been burning bright for the last two days and nights. As long as I keep feeding in the oak and hickory my pilot light won't blow out.Why don't you bring all the chickens in the house and hug them to keep warm? I bet your light will get lit shortly after you do that

ROFL! I bet it WOULD get lit pretty fast then...:) Chickens are warm, never realized it til I had them sitting on me, lol. They saw rain for the first time ever when it finally rained the other day. Wanna hear something neat/gross? Found a wad on top of the chicken house, didn't know what it was at first, then all those nature shows I watched came back to me, as I pulled it apart with a stick and realized it was a poop ball of fur and pieces of (mouse?) bones. I was probing poop with a stick, that was from an owl or hawk, ew!
