Below is a Google search page on 'pickles cramps'...

According to the few pages I read, the pickles adn pickle juice indeed do prevent cramps!!!

Good one to add to my memory banks...

Thanks yet again for teaching me something I didn't know...

My Granddad told me this and lots of other things I am trying to extract from my memory and write them down now that he is gone. He passed away last year at age 96 only time he ever was in hospital was when I was born in 1960 and when My grandma passed in 1980. He was a fountain of knowledge and I miss him every day.

"pickles and other fermented"
I'm thinking I could get into this pickle trearment and other________ ahem.
Been using valium. Doc's sript for a month lasts me over 6mons. That was until about last yr. Some beauracrate has decided I can't have valium over age 65. "Metmhocarbamol" latest scrip doesn't work. Try two, told this stuff'll stop heart. So I use a little salt (Also no-no). But pickles also contain salt. now you've open a pickle jar full of other questions I need answers too. Thanks. I like pickles anyway. eating one more shouldn't hurt. I';; study this after Short horn show.

I try any and all things to stop cramps. To date Quinine has worked the fastest on the severe ones. Tablespoon of viniger also helps sometimes. I get them bad enough to bruise. Dr. is the one who gave me the guinine. This has been an on going thing for most of the last fifteen years. Pain spreads like a fan and I try to talk to each nerve one at a time. I don't see the letters on my keyboard to spell the words I use when talking to these nerves.
