HI, can anyone tell me how old my Monarch Wood Stove might be? I has nickled decor, round filligree tip down shelves, Thermometer that says Monarch Malleable Range Indicator
Also says 226 on a little door below the fire box, and Beaver Dam, Wis. on the door below the oven. It has a pair of warmers above the stove which the stack runs through. I just love this old stove. My husband will restore it when we get our house built. It appears to be able to hook up to a water tank with a pipe on the back.

If you are still looking for info might try Monarchrange.com and check out the catalogs there.

It has to be older than 50-60 years. When I was a kid our hot water came from a wood stove in our kitchen. Hot august day had to have a fire for hot water and cooking. Was lots of fun.
