To the coward who sent the email

I am not sure why you sent an email asking me to leave KL. To bad you didn't have the courage to give your name. As far as all the names I was called....well I have been called worse by far better people.

I don't know Steve19438, I don't even understand why you mentioned his name. I think he would tell you himself that we don't agree on much. However, he has never said one disrespectful or unkind word to me. Therefore, I have no reason to treat him bad.

About your questions....Yes I work, I own a cleaning business, I am limited by how much I can work due to a heart problem. That is why I have free time. My husband is a great provider and I don't have to work but I like too.

No, I am not a liberal per say. We have very conservitive views. However, we usally do vote democrat. We are a proud Union family. They take care of us.

As for the rest of your rambling and other nonsense.....well thats exactly what it was.
Perhaps your the one with to much free time on your hands.

Anyway, the next time you feel like giving me problems be a big enough person to leave your name. There should be no shame in having your own opinion.

Stormie- I don't know you, but I can tell from what I've read of your replies to various topics on here that you are not a Screaming Wild And Crazy Radical Out to Destroy the World.... having said that, just bear in mind that it was indeed a coward, as you said, and therefore deserves none of your time, attention or effort to prove yourself. Hang in there, and ignore the a-holes. (Can I say that?)

SusieQ    Posted 04-05-2004 at 16:10:27       [Reply]  [No Email]
Have to agree here with Melanie, someone has way to much time on their hands, or it could be kids on school spring break....bored already. Hang in there gal, keep posting and grinning, makes folks wonder what is next.

If you got the standard one that usually goes around I may already know the source.

If ye can pull it back out of your trash bin do like was said and post it here.

If ye don't wanna post it feel free to email it to me and I'll scan it for you.

Stick to your guns girl. People like that don't count.

Stormie, I stoped writing my email address here some time ago. Seemed like whenever I talked about the place I live in, because it was relevant to my post, I would receive an email from somebody that strongly believed this forum is not meant for people from my 'geographical area', moreover, because I lacked from the 'necessary' country wisdom or farming knowledge..:-)
I love it here, for me it's like getting on a plane to take a vacation in another country where my main purpose is to take a few days off, relax, and learn a little bit of their culture. Here? I learm much more than that, and for me it's priceless.
While the mayority will be courteous, show good manners, or like you just because?, there's always gonna be the one with a microscopic brain size...right?
Besides, is no 'breaking news' that you're well liked around here, just look a the names that replyied to you, and I'm sure some lurkers will also agree with us on this one.

If you have a program called GoBack, I think maybe it is a Gateway product, you can still retrieve that message. It is sorta like System Restore in that it enables you to reset your hard drive to a "safe point" in the past, such as 48 hrs ago. It has a calendar and clock to choose date and time. I have done this and "re-recieved" deleted e-mails. Good luck

Red Dave    Posted 04-05-2004 at 08:25:34       [Reply]  [No Email]
I feel left out, I never get that kinda e-mail.

Just consider it like any other junk mail - ignore it.

Morning, Stormie.
Gosh someone sent you and email with instructions on how you should behave on here??!!
Talk about authority!! some folks think they know it all, huh.
The Farmers Almanac did not have that in the column for today. ;-)

I know you said you vote Democrat, that is your right, I have a number of friends who do that, too. (Sort of like, I am not a racist, I have several black friends)
I vote Republican myself, my choice, you know.

Did you hit your "empty trash" button? if not that email may just be laying in the trash. You could still retrieve it and copy the heading and address. That would be very interesting information!!

There's always some moron with insufficient verbal skills to compete in an intelligent debate. Such individuals resort to such tactics. You should feel sorry for both them and the educational system that has apparently so failed them.

I often wonder how this country is going to compete in the future, with so many kids who are so lacking in interpersonal and technical skills. I sometimes think that technology is advancing too fast for much of the population to even keep up. And, the technological babysitters such as play station, etc, aren't teaching any interpersonal skills. An entire segment of society will be unable to cope with the frustration of being incapable of having a meaningful job. I can already see it in many of the teenagers in my neighborhood. They won't work in any minimum wage job, and won't do anything involving physical labor. So they just "look for work" (for years) while they sponge off their parents. Nor can they deal effectively with situations in which they don't get their way. (Too many local incidents of kids resorting to violence, theft or vandalism to "get even.")

Stormie, post his address here. Maybe one of us will recognize it. Other than that ignore the lowlife buzzard.

Stormie, take it with a grain of salt. There are far more important things, with which, to concern yourself. So, for what it's worth, don't let the actions of some nut case bother you.

Recently, I decided to stop responding to certain post. Reason being, I will not change the mind of certain individuals...so why bother. Moreover, in keeping with suggestions made here at CL, I shall endeavor to abstain from any political issues and stick to interesting topics like livestock, tractors, vegetable gardening and such. There are many nice people here and I don't intend to get into any shouting matches with the ones that are not so nice.

Just keep on doing what pleases you and remember if someone doesn't like it, it is their problem, not yours........gfp

Don't you pay them no never mind, Stormie. The
anonymity of the internet attracts many cowards.

A little over a year ago I recieved something similar from someone over on Tales. It was sent to my old e-mail address which my son had started using. He was 9 at the time, and the content was not suitable.
I don't always agree with everyone here but I usually like their different brands of humor. Steve, Burrhead and others (myself included)here that like to sorta "stir" keep it interesting. Sorry this has happened to you, don't go anywhere, you are needed here as your opinion and input matters.

Ya just gotta...    Posted 04-05-2004 at 05:34:26       [Reply]  [No Email]

Watch out for Fern....he likes lap dancers but it ain't good for his health!!! LOL!!!

I must have missed something...

Do you have the original eMail with headers attached?

If so, cut and paste the whole thing here...I am sure that some one here could follow the routing back...

Stormie    Posted 04-05-2004 at 05:55:07       [Reply]  [No Email]
I deleted the email after I posted this. I didn't even know that could be done.

Salmoneye    Posted 04-05-2004 at 07:05:04       [Reply]  [No Email]
At the least you can forward it back to the provider where the mail came from...All ISP's and most web based eMail providers have abuse@whatever.net services that want to know when people are using their services to mess with other people...

Some of it can be illegal...

Fern(Mi)    Posted 04-05-2004 at 05:19:50       [Reply]  [No Email]
Don't worry about it Stormie. I get myself into semi-loads of trouble around here.
I caught part of your going's on's; but I'm sometimes so dence everybody here could give me month's worth of Enlish Tuesday's I would know what I had done.
Put it out of your mind and lets you and I; (When my Clink ain't around); have a little cyber affair?
I likes hard working sweety women!!! lol

If you are using Outlook Express and ever need to know exactly where an email came from. Just do this.

Right click on the address of the supposed sender information in the "In Box".

Scroll down to "Properties". Click it. A new window will open.

Details... Click it.

Message Source.. Click it.

Expand the new window that just popped up.
All of the address information will be in Bold letters.

Scroll down until you find Message-ID:

That is where the email origanated from.

I had Free Webs to send me my pass word so that I could use it for an example to show you.
In the sample email source you will see http@freewebs.com
In your IE adress bar. Type www.freewebs.com and you should be taken to the internet provider of the emails sender. If they use a . com.
If it is a . net (beboop@beboop.net). Do a search for Beboop.net and you will locate the company operatiing Beboop.net.

Part of the "source" from free webs..
