Is there any way to get it out? My daughter is
in the process of buying a house. She's looked
at one where the lady was a pack rat. Everything
stored was packed away with mothballs.
Even though, the house is empty, the smell
remains.

Put some Ammonia out in every room in a glass dish. It will absorb the odors. I always use the lemon one.

Vinegar? It's the universal deodorant so some saucers of it scattered around may help.
