finished up the last bedding process for this weekends planting chores. Tilled in the manure and fertlizer and would you believe rain is in the forecast for tomorrow and just don't get any better than this. Also finished preping the buckets for the matters and tatters plants ....I'm feeling kinda froggy I might just plant more this year.....I now have the flower planting done(Gladiolus bulbs and Rose bush spriggings) and have the mesquito plants looking good and ready for thier tactful placement...
All this after a decent days work too...
I feel exceptionally good, my mind is beaming with ideas and I feel refreshed....can't figure out what or why........but hey I'll ride this hoss fer awhile......

Gots to wait here til all the killing frosts are done with, I sure hope we have a better growing season than last year, coolish and raining every other day, and every week. Blessed with the fact that no drought, but darn it, want things to grow. Esp. Tomatoes, squash, rain can be a bummer on these crops.

Have fun in the garden, this good earth smells good.

Consider it I pray regularly for our troops and thier families, please tell him I said thank you so very much.. I know these words are not much comfort to you, as I to have family in the military and know exactly how you feel...I have 3 neices(2-usmc,1 navy seal) and 1 nephew national guard, and 4 cousins serving 2-ng,2usmc all but 1 nephew ng is in Iraq as we speak...1 neice has been wounded twice and refuses to come home.....I love them dearly and pray for all everyday...
