How can I establish sericea lespediza without tilling? Can it be planted in the winter like clover? If so, the hulled or non hulled kind?

Clay

How much lespedeza are ya planting? I'm gonna give a acre or so a try this year myself.

I think that lespedeza is a noxious weed here in the midwest. Our county will fine us for having it growing.

Why on earth would You want to plant that ungodly stuff? I know some reccomend it for wildlife food but believe Me there are better things to plant.
Once started it's like the camels nose.Your tent will never be the same!!!!

As to plantin tha stuff, throw tha seed out anytime and try ta kill it afore it starts---It'l grow and grow and. Spreads by seeds and tha roots go everywhere and sprout.
Check with Your County agent first also Your neighbors if You wish ta stay on speakin terms.
if theres any in the area the birds will plant it for You.FWIW and I ain't prejudice atall.
