…...miscellaneous explanations. So Bare with me!
We ran some of the Shorthorn mob through the chutes today to re-worm them, questioning the success of last Fall’s efforts. Helping were the 4H’er twins: Stephanie and Michelle, their mom and dad, Herr Clink, Brother Roy, and F-SIL Dave; with yours truly bringing-up/picking-up the slack.
The first picture captures likenesses of Tiff’s Dad, Tiff And, my brother Roy. Roy’s refilling a syringe will Tiff holding a line on the head gate to capture a heifer’s neck while dad leans on the yearling calf’s rump. As with this picture and the rest I’ll be unseen doing all the difficult parts of the day’s operations.

Yeah, pretty much sounds like our Christmas. Right now it's probably seventy something. I hear it's blowing up a rain in Texas and I'm hoping it's coming this way. we're about to choke to death on dust.

...fifth day of green grass growth. A couple warm days we better be getting back for its room to grow.
Looks like Spring's here.

My 4-year-old says: (I'm typing, she's talking...)

Hi Fern.
I'm glad that you had lots of help on the calves. Your babies are really cute! (exciting mark - that's what I want)
It would be fun to meet you, Fern!
Carrie Ann

Yep, she's a corker!

The second photograph captures `Shel working the chute ropes with F-SIL Dave looking on.

The third picture shows Herr Clink’s hand in helping `Shel manage another gate’s rope.

The last photo finds the twins Mom And son Jake; along with a partial likeness of stand up guy, Dave; either bossing or supervising the afternoons proceedings.
With a proper manager, a boss, a superintendent, a foreman, and an overseer I like to think I single handedly managed to get today’s work done.
