the whole drug test debate, but one thing's for sure, if you have to wonder if you're gonna pass, you probably won't. Best bet is to stay clean and not worry.

Rick, I think you would be better served to get an attorney. If you think you are going to fail, it's probably because you've been using. But, to answer your question, Webster's dictionary defines as follows:

SNORT....... 1) To force air violently through the nose with a rough harsh sound. 2) To take in (a drug) by inhalation.

SNIFF........1) To draw air audibly up the nose, esp. for smelling. 2) To smell or take by inhalation through the nose.

SMELL........1) To perceive the odor or scent of through stimuli affecting olfactory nerves: 2) Get the odor or scent of with the nose.

What this means is, you can get smell without snorting or sniffing. Certain odors are so strong, they smell even when one holds his/her nose.

Now, don't you think you've played this hand to the limit. If you don't pass your drug test it's simply because you screwed up. And, this thing about you handling an pill bottle and got something on your hands will not fly. Those people that do the drug testing have heard every lame excuse known to man. And, ya know what, that don't give a d@@m..........gfp

I agree with Alias, Rick, I think you have gotten every answer you could possibly get from us.

Whatever happens, deal with it!

If you got close enough to inhale the smell, there's a chance you also inhaled some of the residue.

The question is how much, and whether or not the test you'll take is sensitive enough to catch it.
