I had an especially productive day. Started about 6:30 am in the barn and sheared all 12 adult sheep, with non-electric shears. Then I cut up seven or eight trees that had been knocked down over the winter, split and stacked the wood, roto-tilled the garden a second time, constructed the form to pour concrete for the Mrs' garden shed, shoveled and hauled a few dozen wheel barrow fulls of gravel to put in the form, and dug the trench for the electric line to the new garden shed to be. About 7:00 pm, I seriously ran out of steam. I sat down on the bench to enjoy the sunset, and fell asleep. The Mrs. woke me up and I was so stiff, I can barely move. It even hurts to lift my arms or go up the steps. I can't wait to go back to the office on Monday.

I feel your pain, S-H. I mean, I literally, FEEL YOUR PAIN. Yesturday I stacked lumber for a little building project I've got in mind; planted 5 azelia bushes; tilled and planted in the garden; mowed the grass; Took up and replanted about 150 Gladolia bulbs; And moved a half dozen other plants.

When I was younger, this would have been a light morning's work. But, now it took all day and into the twilight of evening. What's worse, I'm all played out for Easter Sunday......gfp

Ah, a weekend warrior. A man after my own heart. Sounds like you did a lot of work this weekend, take it easy on yourself today. You earned it. :)
