Started off at sunrise, checked in here then off to services at church. Then back home changed clothes and fitted the brackerty for the tractor project. Walked through the garden and marveled at how good it looks.
Mid afternoon rounded up the daughter to go fishing and loaded up and took off to the farm, on the way over met the "down the road neighbor lady " out riding her bicycle at the stop sign.
Stopped to talk a minute and out of the blue I asked if shed like to go with us for awhile. This got a scruplus look from the daughter, what the heck I figure if she could make it past the daughters "20 questions" and her over protectiveness I might just ask her out later.
I never got to wet a hook, spent most of my time baiting the daughters and Debs fishing pole, lol....I did walk around to the spill way for a few by myself. They caught 20 crappie and 4 bream. On the way back home it was kinda quite till we let Deb off at her drive way, she thanked us for a good time and asked if I had her phone number, I nodded my head yes and we took off for home. Most of the ride was quite with both me and the daughter starring straight ahead, then as we approached the drive , daughter said she was nice lady and asked you going to ask her out?
Of course this raised my eye brow, then hers, then she smiled and said ok Dad...you have my permission....
I've been online about 30 mins now and daughter has asked me twice, Dad have you called her yet?.....told her no probably would in a day or two....she gave me that eyebrow look and said don't wait to long Dadddddddd.....

Alright! You may just have things happening down there in south Georgia. :) It sounds like you had a real good day. Summer nights on the front porch swing with this lady might be just for you, and if your daughter approves, that is saying something. :)

Down the road Deb must be an OK lady if your daughter is pushing you.
Sounds like it could be a nice "friendship".
Don't wait too long, tomorrow would be a good time if you haven't already.
