Tiny black ants

Help, I'm going crazy. I am finding tiny black ants, about 4 or 5 a day on my kitchen walls. I
think they are coming from the woodwork on top
of my counter tops. I only see them on the walls.
There are none in my closets yet. Today, I found
a couple on my bathroom floor and on my radiator
box in the living room. How can I get rid of
these little pests. Please help.

Ants don't like peppermint, either. I once planted mint plants, spaced about one foot apart, all around my foundation. Nary an ant could be found after that! I've also used mint flavored mouth wash in a spray bottle to spray an area. It'll last until the next good rain.

Sounds like sugar ants. May seem strange, but smush one on your finger, and then sniff it, does it have a sweet smell? If so, those are just little sugar ants. I get a stray one here and therein the bathroom sometimes, don't know why, I think they just get lost. You can try spraying cracks and crevices, windowsills and such with a bug spray, ant and roach spray. My dad puts boric acid powder all long the bottom of the perimeter of the house to keep out ants and roaches. Good Luck! Bugs are persistant.

yup, boric acid can be diluted and spritzed into masonry cracks too, and kills more than ants. After the 71 earthquake out west we got a zillion new ground cracks for them to hatch in. :)

Thats boric acid powder on the outside of the house, like along the bottom, on the bricks.
