Hi all. I was wondering if any of you have used a different type of fuel (other that lighter fluid) in your old handwarmers. I have heard a rumor that kerosene or refined lamp oil will work. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

We always used 'Coleman Fuel' (including in our Zippos)...White Gasoline will work also...

Straight Naptha works too...
