Gene, next they will allow Muslims to pray in school, but our own children won't, they aren't allowed to. Such is the twisted ways of overaccomodating the others from different countries, different religions. I believe if you came here from another country, you must adapt to the majority's ways, which is speaking ENGLISH and keeping your own religious beliefs to yourself if you don't want to participate in going to church and worshiping the one and only God.

If these people hold their religion and ways in such reverence, why do they come here? Because we will accomodate them. Because over in their country, where this religion is prevalent, they are marching down the streets, hollering like banshees, toting guns and shouting craziness. If we are not careful, if we keep on, soon, we will see such things happening.

As for the rap crap, no, I don't like that either. Have to listen to it booming up and donw my road all hours. That is disturbing the peace, and if I had my way, there would be a whole lot of target practice going on as they passed by my house, they wouldn't come down here any more.

Kelly...who is feeling kinda strange tonight...but still believes what she said to be true.

Wow!It is great that other people feel the way I feel. The bad thing is, what do we do about it? I lived about two minutes away from work and at first it was great, but then I found out that the neighborhood was full of 'right over the border, probably illegal mexicans'. To them, the American way is being able to pack 10 people into a 2 bdrm house, tweeking the bass on their stereo to get it nice and ANNOYING!, and having a nice DIRT yard. After 5 yrs of that, I found heaven almost an hour away in rural El Paso County. I would rather spend money on gas than put up with those idiots! Out here, people have more to worry about than their car stereos! It's just a LOT better out here in the country!!!

I heard the call to prayer 5 times a day for over a year when I lived in Morocco. I always found it rather soothing.

Oh My. I do agree that there should not be discrimination, not for or against, any individual. If one cannot pray, none can.

But... Wasn't American founded on the principle of diversity? Does the house full of immigrants disturb you more than a trailor full of loud mouthed drunken Irish immigrants who have the police at the front door at least three nights a week? Because we are all immigrants when it comes down to it.
