Just wanted to tell a story about our new visitor durning the night. Three nights ago we put out our garbage and woke up to a mess of garbage all over the driveway and road. Just thought maybe a dog. The next night we woke up to bird feeders broke and seed all over the place and container for bird seed all over the ground. Now this is bad now the third night we woke up in the morning to find the bear had been back and broke another feeder and sunflower seeds all over the places. We are hoping he doesn't get at our ducks sh they are sitting ...Anyone ever have problems with a bear. Sorry so long just wanted to pass this along.

Do like I did a few years back had a Bear come to close to the barn so I went out and squeezed off 3- 12 Gauge rounds out of my shotgun bear left and did not return again. The dogs keep them away also. Mark H.

They can be hungry when they first come outa hybernation. My inlaws had one crash thru the living room window one nite and helped himself to the fridge - they'd left bacon in the pan and bears can't resist bacon or honey. When they do that, they know they're in somebody else's territory - they also adore stale donuts, cereal and rotten fish - noise scares them off. :)

I don't know about bears but hanging a dishtowel from the handle of my garbage can and pouring a little ammonia around it and on it helps keep the critters here dogs and raccoons) out of my garbage : )
