Being spring and all, I know y'all got a list made up of what you got to get done today, or even a list for the rest of the week, I know I do. :) So lets see who's working hard out there today! Heres my list.

Plant more tomatoes
All laundry (always a mountain)
All dishes (no dishwasher here, just me)
Feed and water, birds, dog, cats, iguana, chicks, chickens, clean out fish tank today.
Finish mowing
Wash the truck, wax the truck
Vacuum
Make the beds
Pick up the house (not literally)lol
Shower
Go get tags for vehicles
Post office and drop off bills and letters

And all this is before 2 pm, when I have to go pick up Shelby, SO I guess I better get off here, and get my butt in gear! See y'all tonight! :)

Well todays list was pretty long for me. I 'm actually still working on it. Or suppose to be anyways. HA! But tomorrows list is short. Mow while drinking beer and listening to some Buffett tunes. And sell a goat at 530. I hope.

I actually can hook my laptop to my cell phone and get online!

But today Im doing the engineer thang downtown Houston. This job keeps me in beer and the tractors in diesel :) Besides I need another 4-5 days of sunshine and wind to dry that last 150 acres so I can plow it.

Well, the wind seems to be working for you.
Did you ever figure what is causing the big sink hole?
You think all those old oil wells from the boom days left some cavities there?
Have fun up there in the "big city".

Best I can come up with on the sink hole was that it was a low area that sat with water on it all winter and sorta stewed itself into land that was to thin to plow and to thick to drink :)

I always make the drilling/oil/gas companies line their pits and when they dig them separate the topsoil so it goes back on top. Its also written into the lease agreement that they cannot fill them in after removing liner unless its dry to a depth of 8 inches and soil tests are negative.

This is what I have to get done. There is always a never ending list of other things that should be done:

Mountains of laundry also
Wash pans and plastics that don't go in dishwasher
Pot strawberries and thyme to take to Moms
Give Jack(border collie) a bath
Feed all the creatures and kids
Hook up to trailer
Make sure the kids get their school work done before we leave
Load composted manure
Take Mother Nature's gold to Mom and Dad's and unload into the garden
Load same trailer back full of wood
Bring it on home and unload

At least they only live an hour away. I might be home before dark!
Hope everyone's day is great!
