Any one happen to know where to go on line for a plan for a cage that will hold a pet coon? One with the hardware cloth stapled to the inside to prevent chewing the wooden framework? Thanks in advance!

No plans but we always use a chandler's joint and 2x4s. I make them 3 x 3 x 8 feet with a top plywood lid and rear access, with 2 foot legs. That works for chickens, rabbits, raccoon or anything that'll fit. (Lotta fun but if it's a female coon she'll get too moody and nasty for kids in a couple years.)
Chandler's joints secure corners with minimum fasteners: All you do is take 3 boards & 4 nails, nail the flat side of one against and edge of the next, (like your flat hand across the other wrist) go around and do it twice more, and you can stand on it - it locks itself. Then add the wire mesh to the inside and wrap out around the boards at all the edges.:)
