well...poor Shelby had to give it up and go to the doctor today. She has strep throat, got the antibiotics. No school for her today or tomorrow, doctors orders.

On the other hand, she is pretty happy about getting to stay home. As I type she has Tyler, her new four month old Flemish Giant in her room with her, talking to him, petting him, getting him adjusted to the pampered life. Basicly doing some bonding. :) I think this is the beginning of a wonderful experience for Shelby. I am going to take some nice pictures of them together, one for framing, too. I will share them with y'all when I get them developed and scanned. :)

Hey gal!!    Posted 04-22-2004 at 12:16:31       [Reply]  [No Email]
You gonna give up moonlighting at the Saloon to raise wabbits now? :^)

LOL! I tellya, I got animals coming and going here at the funny farm! ;) If we do decide to raise and sell Flemish Giants, I am definitely going to have to move to do it! These babies get up to 20 pounds! Thats a lot of rabbit! I can't wait to see her at her first show, I am beaming I tellya! :)

Oh, and no, I need the saloon job on the side to support this animal habit I have!!! All this feed and hay and litter, housing, on and on and on....well, you get the idea! Ian is going to be forced to move us soon, I just know it! LMAO!

I'm so glad Shelby got her rabbit. Now you got me thinking about getting some more.

Oh yeah? You used to have rabbits? Cool, what kind? We are litter training him so he can be in the house. He has a hutch, a real nice one, but if today is any indication of how things will go, he will be hopping around the house, hanging out with all the other critters. I love living in this jungle called home, wouldn't be home without them all. :) He has papers and everything, she is going to show im in the fair in Perry come October, so I will be doing the agility show with Tip and she will be doing her rabbit show, now, if we can just get Ian into the game! He is about to lose his mind I think, lol. Just wait til we move out, have some land, then the fun will really start! ;)

What kind will you get? If you do?

I had Dutchies. That's probably what I'll go back with again.
