Inside an engine reassembly in progress. Outside two more, ruptured hydralic lines.
Another new calf behind the barn. F-SIL Dave gets back, we'll mark and collect stats.
Got fence to fix, wood to cut, another elc-wire to wind-up.
And in front of all that a tractor and plow to service for landscaping duty. Got a fallow field to turn into a productive animal feeding crop land. Plant in sudex this week, alfafa in August.
So, keep a tight grip on your hoe. And, I'll see ya at the other end of the garden.

Fern, you make me tired just reading about what you do!

Don't over do it, remember that this Spring you are a year older than you were last Spring. But, I do suspect that your activity level keeps you in darn good shape.

I grew up on an Ollie farm. Dad bought most of them at the equipment auctions in Stilesville, Indiana in the '70's and '80's. They had the necessary horsepower at an acceptable price tag. Now all the hubby and I use on our 100 acres is a Ford 3930 - only do hay. I kinda miss my tractor days...I spent a summer on a 1850 Oliver with a 14' clipper doing all the pastures (about 800 acres) then another summer discing with an 1850 Oliver with duals and an 18' winged disc (manual wings, mind you!). Yep, miss the tractor farming... But I do appreciate the regular paychecks I now get!
