Egg incubator

howdy y'all.. anyone have an egg incubator in good shape/working...that they are willing to sell?...i am getting bombbarded with request for chicks...[i sell eggs amoung everything else]but a ton of people are asking me for chicks and/or chickens and i may be able to turn a lil profit iffin i can get an incubator...we run a non profit rescue here also and we can use this extra money for more shelter and to pay feed cost that comes out of our own pockets.....i had 12 rescue chicks that i have givin more then half away so far.....they are in pretty bad shape and i refuse to sell any animal that i cant say iffin will live or iffin anyone has one to sell let this ole hen know...ty...dale anne

dale there are DIY plans a plenty to build an incubator. A simple styrofoam cooler box and a regular light bulb in a small lamp stand will do the trick. Just hafta be careful not to build a fire trap.

The turning of the eggs and keeping them moist is about the most important thing in hatching.

I think I may still have some incubator building info around here from the 4H days with the kiddoes projects. If I can find it I'll post it for you.
