Today I loaded some equipment. Something needed taken apart so I got out my trusty toolbox and went to work. Halfway through th eproccess someone asked me to move my truck for a minute. No problem--after they got by I moved it back-after a little manuvering.
When I got out of the cab I noticed a red sweatshirt on the groung about 100' away {where I had just had the truck}--Hmm---better pick it up and put it someplace where the owner can see it. As i got closer I noticed a wrench sticking out of one of the pockets. Then getting still closer I said OH SCHIT!!!! That's not a sweatshirt--it's my TOOLBOX!!!!
Yep---I managed to run over my own toolbox!! Talk about compact tool storage!!!! It was flatter than the proverbial pankake!!
The tools were pressed in kinda like when you press a flower to put it in a scrapbook!! The only spots on the toolbox that weren't perfectly flat were the parts where it was pressed arounf the tools. I actually had to use the cutting torch to get the tools out! Miraculously the only damage {other than the box itself} were a couple of broken hammer handles and one bent wrench. Luckily I just buy el-cheapo tools to carry in the trucks and tractors--
One good thing, nobody saw me have that stupid attack--it could be a tough one to live down!!
Oh, and to top it odd, I had this story all typed up and ready to post when I clicked the wrong button and had to re-type the whole thing!!

I had one of those days a couple days ago I pick p those 40 yard roll off dumpsters for a private company. I drive a 72 DM 600 Mack offset cab and you cant see the right side fender at all. I hacve 2 dumpsters at the owners plant they are rebuilding and they fill up quickly so I park behind the dumpsters and go in get a backhoe to compact it down for hauling. When i get done um thinking im parked back far enought to cut my wheels and trun out but I forgot about my door latch on the dumpster hanging out 6 inches in the blind spot I made a big ugly boo boo on my truck. Ive straightened it out some but it still irks the heck out of me for doing it and it was a straight fender. The boss said it was ok but im wanting to paint the truck anyway so im gonna buy a another fender and repaint the truck with my own money since i get to use it on the weekends anyway.
