Lambing time came this week. We have twin ewes, and a little ram lamb so far. They're Shetlands, and like the ponies, rather small. Breed goes back over 1000 years. (Ours aren't that old!) They are known for their very fine wool - we sheared two weeks ago. Babies are about the size of a cat, and 'bout as cute and lovable as can be!
Two more ewes yet to give birth, so we're checking often!
