I’ll have your ear cleaned in another moment.” mom said. This picture reminded me of my mom spiting on one corner of her hanky and then trying to rub my right ear right off the side of my head. Always the routine dad driving up to somebody elses house. I never knew what all the fuss was about. It always looked alright to me. But then from where I was, I couldn’t see it; and, what I couldn’t see didn’t worry me.
It was like a waste of time to wash both sides of my hands. I didn’t hold my `samitch’ with the backs of my hands. They was for whipping away the drool.

I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your pictures, stories, truths and such. Hits home most every time. I may not always post a reply but I know I will always enjoy yours. Wish I had a way of posting pictures also. Our cows will be calving soon and we have several horses to foal this summer. Thanks for inviting us into your life!

I can always count on you for a laugh. God bless you !you are a delight to know. I'm stuck in the house all day cuz hubby and fol saw me fall of a little ladder this morning and told me to stay inside or else and I know darn well ain't no sense in fightin wit them 2 men. I'm fine I just got a little dizzy[no dizzier than normal for me] and lost my balance. So i'll visit here while I'm doing some baking. If they're giong to do my chores I figured they'd like a nice banana cake for desert with the roast turkey. What do you think???

My daughter tells me that when she was 8 or so and I'd send her in to brush her teeth, she would turn on the faucet and let it run, hold her toothbrush under to get it wet, and stand there awhile, thinking she was really getting away with something, not brushing her teeth. Now, looking back, she realizes it was as much trouble NOT brushing her teeth as it would have been to brush them.
