Yesterday we bought 2 calves and put them in our pasture with a brand new fence.Today, 1 got out!I'm still looking for her. Also today, my sheep got out of their pen.I'm also missing 2 Pekin ducks!Do we have a predator that spooked the cow and sheep!Ate the ducks? We live in S. Fla and perhaps Bobcat?Fox? I don't think we have coyotes in the area.Any thoughts?

I have said it before on this board, cows are dumb, I say again, dumb animals. They will get out of a fenced in area with good grass for no good reason. But I think maybe sheep are smarter and maybe you got a critter spooking the animules.Coyotes usually leave some sign they been there, foxes may eat chickens and ducks but I doubt cows or sheep. Sounds like something more aggressive, maybe bobcat or even gator? Maybe a 2 legged critter too.
