The sky is very dark and greenish, thunder and Lightening.
We are under a TORNADO WARNING.
Say a prayer for us and our safety.
Signing off for now.

hope all you texas folks are safe down there , and lenore you wondered how we make it through our winters, we,ll i wonder how you all can put up with tornadoes, a little minus 39 weather seems pretty mild compared to what you folks have to put up with , haha keep safe.

toolman most of those "tornadoes" are just tornado warnings. As long as I have lived here I have never experienced one. I hope I never do though.

Y'all dont just have "freeze, snow, and Norther warnings"; you actually have them!! You can count on it. We just have occasional "warnings" and most of the time we dodge the bullet. ;-)

2 things i hate to see - a greenish sky and clouds moving one way but rolling the other. Oh well they usually blow over. Hang on. :)

So far, so good.
Still constant thunder rolls, and power is still on!!
Here in Liberty, the lights used to go out if a breeze blew by.
I do believe our new mayor not only got our power rates reduced;'
he also got the antiquated equipment repaired or replaced.
A good man, ran on those issues and did what he said he would, how refreshing.
I believe I read where he is not running after he completes this term; I hated to hear that.

Yup! Keep your head down.
Back in late forty's early fifty's everytime we elected a new councilman, his street got paved. This went on for years until half the populas had been councilmen. lol.
Whule your in the celler, can you take stand in a pot-hole somewhere and have a street renamed in your honor. LOL
Just a thought?
