I'm sorry..did I do something to offend?? I just wondered because I have been here for some time and yet the funniest thing..No one ever asks how our house building is going..how my honey is doing..or responds to other posts I answer to..I just went back about 10 pages and found that only one or 2 people EVER respond to anything I write. So please..if I offended someone let me know..I feel out of the fold and it be COLD out here..

Aprille, I am sorry I did not ask about your honey or your house. I did not know about either, I must have missed a lot. I guess a lot of new folks on here might not either.
Why dont you start from the beginning and fill in the missing information. We care.

I did'nt mean to ignore ye. I was wondering how your *honey* was coming along but did'nt want to be nosey or ask at a bad time.

Most times I don't post anymore I just read.

Add me to the list of daily lurkers who seldom post. Guess I just dont have much to add so I keep my trap shut. I do feel like I have good neighbors here I have never met, including you Aprille.

Willy-N    Posted 05-04-2004 at 18:56:16       [Reply]  [No Email]
I read 90% of the posts and have been neglectant in answering many! Does not mean I don't care just so many things I have had to do lately that reading them is about all I can do right now. Mark H.

Aprille, Please forgive me. I didn't purposely ignore your post. I try to respond to many but there are soooooooo many. But, I promise, I'll look for your post in the future. We don't want you feeling like you're out there all alone. Heck, you're one of us........gfp

Donna is right, lots of people read it, they may not comment, but they read. Shoot, I just ramble on about stuff, sometimes nobody says anything, sometimes a few, sometimes more. Don't even be worrying about it. :)

donna in w.v    Posted 05-04-2004 at 18:21:52       [Reply]  [Send Email]

Fern(Mi)    Posted 05-04-2004 at 18:05:27       [Reply]  [No Email]
Don't feel bad. I hung around here quite awile a lot of folks slow to respound to me. I imagine these folks thought me a wierdo, a s3x maniac, a city boy lost, pervert, or any manner or number of other things.
Might say it takes time. Some want or have to look ya over. Sometimes we get over looked.
And, sometimes, most times loving laughter right after my wife, I leave myself open and nobody picks up on to jump my bones. So hang in their. These folks are some of the best, crazyest, lovenest, most imaginative, wierdest country sensed of humor folks anywhere. I don't always fit in. Don't always get the respounces I want, yearn, crave, or lust after. OPPS, "lust after" belongs somewhere else.
To loosen all these folks up pick out two or three! pick on them! Make them know you are here! And if any of what I have said starts to make the least bit of sense? Forget it.
Post a pick of your favorite honey in a bikini, and she'll get a llot of attention.
What was the original question.
Ya gat to remember, somebody somewhere loves ya.
Fernan

One thing I've learned here Aprille, ya gotta hava a thick skin. For a long time I felt like I was on the outside looking in here, til I realized that just because they don't answer doesn't mean they don't care. I've also figured out that more people read these posts than we realize. {And I mean that in a good way}
AndI am as guilty as anybody about not asking how someone is doing, still doesn't mean I don't care. So--fill us in please!
N.G.

Aprille, I've been on this board for a couple of years, and I don't get that many responses either. Always remember that there are about 20 lurkers for each one person who posts here, and somebody is sure to be reading and enjoying what you have to say. Now tell me... just how IS your house-building coming along?

geo. h    Posted 05-04-2004 at 18:04:24       [Reply]  [Send Email]

aww..thanky all so much..not to mention I think it's a moon hormonal thang..anyhoo..onto better things..the house..we will be laying the foundation in about 3 -4 weeks..my honey's lawyer has said that the insurance people only offered 3 years..which is total crrraaPPP!! He will never be able to work again and can hardly walk. He has waited all these years..10 now...for his settlement..has even been tracked by detectives..but..of course..they couldn't find anything bad to report..the man is a walking pain mobile..I don't know how he makes it thru the day..so right now that is what we are focusing on..the lawyer has been advised to ask for 7 yrs instead..well..and I am still doing the job hunt thang too..with not alot of luck thus far and mayhap that be why I'm so sensitive..seems to be nuthing in upper NH..thanx for the heads up you wonderful roomies you!!

Chas in Me    Posted 05-04-2004 at 18:06:39       [Reply]  [No Email]
Moon Hormones might be why she asked for a whoopee pie when I went to town. Upper NH is like upper Maine, all woods, hard work jobs and bad places for bunged up backs. Why do we stay? Clean air, no need to lock up, clean water, neighbors who know your name and will stop to help.
Lots of money down there in the cities, can't bring myself to go after it.
Good luck in upper NH and don't quit.
Charles
