Thursday Morning    Posted 05-06-2004 at 03:01:45       [Reply]  [No Email]
5:50 or so on this Thursday Morning and I woke up with the Cap Cramp of all time in my left leg. It was of the variety that hurt when you stand and continued to hurt as you walk it off. Quickly, I grabbed a pair of fleeces and struggled to get my legs in and then with more pain and torture, I labored to put on some heavy socks. But, through the grace of God and a hatered for pain, I finally got the old leg warmed up enough to relax the cramp. What I get for not making sure the Thermostat is properly set.

But, all's well and I'm having my coffee and here's hoping you all get off to a more pleasant start than me. So, have yourselves a gooden now, ya heah...........gfp

Hey Sir,
I use to get 'em too, when I got my legs chilled.
Yup, up in those big inside thigh muscles.
My old doctor put me on Four 600mg. Calcium
caplets. Doesn't seem to matter what kind or what brand. As long as I stay on that Calcium.....
NO Leg Cramps.
Good luck with 'em
'Til later..........
Old John

Mornin folks. I hate them leg cramps too. Used to get them alot until I got my blood sugar in control and like you said, keep keep my legs and feet warm.

Maggie and I folded 1355 letters last night. Now all we got to do is slap on the lables and stampes then drive them babies to Austin, pay for another 1355 preprinted lables, drop it all in the mail and then start praying. I sure would like to have that office located at 1106 Lavaca in Austin it has a nice view of the capatiol and is in the state AFL-CIO headquarters plus it is a three year job.

Morning : ) I'm lucky enough to live to see another day. Have you ever tried Aleve for your knees Sweetie? It works much better than Advil for mine. Hope they get to feeling better soon. Mornin Clipper, hope you have a good day too. Starting out at 57 here and climbing to a sunny 84 today. Everybody have a goodun : )

Darn if I ain't in near the same condition as yourself. Cramps waking me up. Felt them coming on last night. I take a 5mg Valium for them. Doc says no more. Doesn't want me relaxing the heart?
I've got to get it going also. Have to check weather report so I can figure what gets done first after tending stock. All them Ladies is sometimes like having 45 wives.
Then I got to pay Ruben, the quarter horse, back the quarter he loaned me for my lunch over at the cross roads yesterday when I was two-bits short. I'm not crazy about dishpan hands. Lord knows I get into enough hot water otherwise.
Right now I Ďve got to shuffle off for some coffee.

The chartable mood Iím in this morning, if that pretty girl over at that bank is always welcome to sit on my lap. I can be one of the best little consolers on the planet.
Iíll be right out back, behind the barn. Out of sight the house and road. Donít want to stir no extraneous talk among the neighbors. These critters may want to run me for barnyard mayor one day. Charlotte has been spinning a good word here and there around here.
