dale ann use the hot shower treatment; it works and is amazing!
Here is an excerpt from this site:

"....wanted to say thank you and to weigh in on the poison ivy home remedy chat. I had been "immune" to ivy for I thought. Last season got into some ivy and went through two weeks of hell which was brought to an end only through prescribed steroids (Prednisone). This year my exposure to ivy produced a much worse rash over both legs and arms and the steroids did not seem to help after 8 days of taking them. Today is day 10 and I haven't had the urge to scratch once since I have been doing 2 days (6 baths) of the hot water (or showers) treatment I read from various entries on this web page. I think I have this beat and I thank you for such a great site. (A friend who got the ivy at the same time with me also started the hot baths and did the hair dryer technique described herein and is doing as good if not better in his ridding of this foul stuff)

goodmorning, ....I hope.
I have not been out to look over the armadillo damage yet. If I do not return, I probably fell in one of those armadillo holes and can't get out!! Taking my coffee mug with me just in case. ;-)

Mornin'. The rain missed us last night, should be dried up enough to go to the field here today. Everybody be safe!

three and a half inches of rain has brought field work to a halt arond here. The creek is weel over it's banks for the a rare turn inwell over a year. And I'll be hearing nature's peepers and day now as well as the ones already in my head.
It's another great day to be alive, even if treading mud.
Wishing everyone and their special MIL's a good day. lol

Hello everyone. And, a good morning to you.

We got hit with the tail end of your storm, Fern.
It woke me once about 12:15, pretty heavy rain. The weather report was that just across the line in Pa. there was quarter sized hail. One report put the size in the golf ball range. It's probably too wet to do any work in the garden. I'll check it out later. Might go on down to the Susquehanna and try a little fishing. That's what they mean about turning lemons into lemonade. LOL

Try to keep your tootsies dry and I'll check in with you later.......gfp

Good morning Alias. Thanks for the nice words about my Mother's Day poem, but I can't take credit for it. Believe it or not, it was in one of the comic strips in the Sunday paper yesterday,I just thought it was nice and wanted to share it.
Good luck fishing today!

A pleasant good morning to field work here, either, have about eight inches of snow on the ground...a welcome phenomina, that will put moisture in the powder dry ground....wish that we could get back to the good ole three day rains of yesteryear......keeps this drying trend up, and we may just have to look into the possibilty of irrigating....have a gooder, R.E.L.
