.....with kittens this morning. Toe to toe with a calf's needs during a storm watch and tronado warning this afternoon.
This calf's mom is the one who had all the problems a couple evenings ago. I decided this bull calf's mom needed a little help keeping him fed. Mom's 19years old. Oldest cow on the farm.
By the time Fall rolls around, this calf should make Jake a good 4H steer project. Not that I had anything to do with him....
In for the evening. New medications working's aren't weighing heavy upon my chest. Feeling lighter. Was afriad that building pain over my back's ribs was going to continue building and follow me forever. Tired though just the same. After Supper, may lay it down early. Severest part of latest weather has past dumping more deepening mud making rain. probably more than another inch?
May just lurk for awhile. Nite friends.
Fernan
