Been busy here today. Just got on. Been working outside all day. LOML(Love of my Life) says I have an "aruuraa of manura" about me. Oh well. I got it all spread.
Hey TO, nice tractor. When I was a kid, my family moved from northern Maine to western NY. The farm we bought had four of those puppies on it. They were the first things my dad got rid of. I really missed em. Learned to drive on one of those. Beautiful job.
Loved the lawyer jokes. It gets so cold up here, lawyers have to keep their hands in their own pockets.
Anyone know who won the NASCAR race. I cheer for our Maine boy Ricky Craven, but thats been tough lately. That's some game, that racing. Lots of bucks driving that business.
That's all for now. Got to check the tractor ads and daydream for a while.

I didn't hear who won, I don't follow it since it got too rich for most common folks. I did hear that the son of Fireball Roberts (60's stock car driver) died this week. For those of you too young to know Stock Car Races was what we had long before Nascar was born. It was every Southern boy's dream to drive at Daytona, now with the big bucks required it is only a pipe dream. JMHO

I grew up near a 1/3 mile dirt track where they had a claimor class. You had to sell your car to the first person who laid $150.00 on your hood. If you didn't sell, you couldn't race that car anymore. This kept racing cheap and kept that class open for fun. This was in the 50's when car hops, soda fountains, poodle skirts and duck "tail" hair styles were going around for th first time.
Yeah, it was fun, and yeah, I miss it.
