KellyGa Somehow reminds me of an old hen we had here at the Stonepile years ago. She got so that she was squawking endlessly. (Not KellyGa, the hen). I got tired of it and got the .22 out and caught up to her in the barn yard going SQUAWK peck SQUAWK peck SQUAWK peck. (The hen, not me!) I administered a pill right up her rearhind at high speed being that was what was presented to me at the moment. She did a little hop and a SQUAWK and went on pecking and SQUAWKING. She hung a mean right and pecked and SQUAWKED her way up to the overhang in the barn, and kept on pecking and SQUA......! Peace at last!!!!

You ALMOST put your foot in your mouth, lol. ;)What was she making such a ruckus about? Guess you never found out! My buff is currently sleeping peacefully in the plastic bin brooder on the dining room table. No squawking allowed!

Don't have a clue, but she had been SQUAWKING like that for a week or so! Glad yours is fixed up and doing good. Jim
