......Machinery Signs
Had a brilliant idea come to me last Friday when I was having trouble keeping it up to speed. I had decided to check with the County Road Commission, not that I am in anyway slowing down. But of course, in the interest of others safety dealing with a blind hill top potentially hazard meetings between alternately fast public and slow width-ed farm vehicles, I thought I would pursue any little additional help there may be out there to keep all of us perhaps a wee bit safer.
Got an E-Mail this morning, my request is being considered. And, I managed to bring this question to these authorities without taking on trying traffic to make a personal appearance or having to write a lengthy letter overloading a US Mail carrier. Now all I got to do is cross my fingers.
This electronics stuff is getting around to being alright.

Good Evening Fern. Now, there's one group that will disagree with you on electronics. The Amish have no need of computers, but they have those triangular shaped, redish-orange, high visability, slow moving buggy ahead signs. Of course some Amish in Lancaster County, Pa. are challenging the legality of being required to put them on their horse drawn buggies.

I'll try to be up and have coffee with you tomorrow.......gfp

Amish think SMV signs are an eyesore or something? So's tire tracks on your britches! heh heh - Well years ago Frank Sinatra didn't want to paint big numbers under the wings of his new learjet either -- so he didn't! The FAA said it was "to readily identify" the exact airplane. So he said "bingo! How many black learjets are out there with no mumbers on them?" They let him go. :)
