I walked out to see just what I needed this afternoon. The cows were everywhere other than where they belonged. Major fence problems. New portable as well as old permanent fence are down. Well, they has got to be put back. Oh yeah!! Just enjoy yelling, “Auktune, Rouse, Shnell,” or some such superlatives once heard from grandparents, once practiced, I am yelling in their memorable places. Took another picture of old fence, unable to even guess its age. Some barbed wire, a fence staple, some barrel clamps, fence posts and tie wires, along with a post driver, shovel, and a fence stretcher I spent the rest of afternoon into evening fixing fence. Finally, the rest of the evening was going to be my own.

Going out to feed the calf, I thought I was ready for him. His getting onto this “the man’s bringing me something to drink” routine down, he near run me over tonight, with his giving me a whole lot of welcoming calf talk.

Thinking this evening my own, Clink meets me at my incoming door
with the/our laundry. I did need my socks washed out! Now, I wish had never banned her from going to the basement. So dipping one toe after another into our basement and my personal collections of cobwebs and maybe other interesting nose itching surprises.

Thinking things can improve I find my internet access denied. Have had to make a call. Seems someone somewhere had messed up my modem from off site (a source other than from here). Not sure whether it was my internet provider, some hacker, or an unscrupulous spy? Anyway, that took an ear’s cauliflower-ing hour to get it straightened out. And, I am getting fussier as to who I let in; or, where I go.

That old hollowered out fence post looks familiar.
I do believe it the same old post where cusin Leon used to stache his hootch. When you go back out there see if maybe there's a quart jar setting in that hole. If it's still there, it'll be the best kaintuk shine you ever tasted. ...gfp
