Red Wing butter churn #8

I just acquired a #8 Red Wing butter churn with lid. It has a 4" red wing and the oval trademark and looks to be hand turned as it has rings inside of it. Any information would be appreciated.

cliff hang on to that sucker!...dont know what ya paid fer it but ya struck gold!....they are worth hundreds even thousands of dollars in the right market...does it still have the paddle and lid?.....look fer signs of wear...I have seen these reproduced!....been looking fer any redwing butter churn fer years!!!!!....my house is full of ole country collectables that are still useable and boy ole boy have i wanted a redwing butter churn but would have to sell my first and second born in order to afford one with paddle and lid still attached.....i havent done much research on them but i believe the # on the jar is the quarts of milk that it will hold...not sure that may be the # from the crocks....sorry cant help much..look at that link that was sent to ya...i just know ya struck gold...and iffin ya willing to sell it...let me know...can trade ya a husband...2 tractors...and a son and daughter in law lol.......dale anne
