Hi all, found this site by accident and I'm glad I did. I was wondering if anyone out there knows how to make YOGURT! Many moons ago I use to make it,your start with a plain tablespoon full of natural yogurt (you can purchase this from th supermaket). You heat milk and than cool slightly.I just cant rememberthe temperatures! Now you stir the yogurt into the milk, place in a clean jar, close with a screw top and place in a warm place or incubator. That,s all there is to it realy easy, if you can remember the temps. that is. Some one please help.

When we were still milking our goats, we made yogurt about twice a week. I'm at work (ooops) right now and don't have the temperatures but will look them up and post them if nobody else has by check back if your post goes to older pages in a hurry. (I want to say it was just about 103 degrees F, if you're in a hurry, but as I said I'll doublecheck.)

Well I think that homemade yogurt is just the best, you can use it in deserts, snacks and with curries! Can't ask for more than that.
