Dale Anne, I have a couple of people answering from GoatBasics. Nora is the lady from WA State that is in the agricultural department. This one is from another lady. Will continue forwarding info as they send in. Sharon

Sharon, the only other thing I'd suggest is large amounts of penicillin. And more Thiamin. Those hit the two possible causes of symptoms you suggest, tho if he was bloated it would tend to indicate polio and thiamine is the right treatment.

Sounds like you are getting lots of good help here and also sounds like the treatment matches the symptoms.
Another good site I found is , they have an emergency section that is monitored closely and they seem to get back quickly.
I have never seen one that went unanswered.
Good Luck with him.
