Hello all. Have any of you ever made jelly out of prickly pear cactus. I looked up some recipes on the computer. I have a bunch of it that grows wild here on the place. Thought i would ask before i try it. Thank you. Archie in southwest Missouri.

NOPE..But I saw some guys near the Mexican border eat it..After they cut the thorns off. They sell it in Festa stores around Houston because the Mexican come to buy it.But as for what they do with it afterwards you might ask for a Mexican to post it here.
